The Sutton Park ‘Fun’ Run is back and renamed to ‘Birmingham Running Festival’, with multiple length routes available for those with different abilities. Sunday 20th February will see thousands of participants line up to take part and raise money for causes that mean a lot to them.
The Birmingham Running Festival will take runners through the 2,400 acre national nature reserve of Sutton Park. The support that lines the route is always phenomenal, the local community cheers from the pavements and their homes as the route meanders through the streets of Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield and finishes on the high street.
One of our Funeral Directors, Lee Solomon, will be taking part on this cold February morning to raise money for a Charity that means a lot to him and his family. Lee will be raising money for John Taylor Hospice, John Taylor Hospice has been providing expert ‘Taylor-made’ end of life care for families in Birmingham since 1910. John Taylor Hospice helps a lot of families in our community and the nurses there provide care that far exceeds expectations, we hope we can raise as much money as possible for JTH because they truly deserve it.
We have set up a fundraising page to help raise money, you can donate via this link;
If you can’t donate, please show your support by sharing this post and cheering Lee on, on Sunday 20th February.
