A Second Funeral Home To Celebrate A 2 Year Anniversary

Lilies Funeral Directors based in Sutton Coldfield are coming up to their 2nd year anniversary since they opened their doors and started offering their services to our local community. After receiving the keys for their Chester Road funeral home on 31st December 2015 and then opened for business on 1st March 2016, they have been overwhelmed by the amount of families who have trusted them to give their loved ones the send off they deserved.

A quote from one of the Owners at Lilies, Lee Solomon, “Being a new company in an industry built on trust and recommendations, we thought it would take us a long time to get where we are today. We are just so grateful that families speak so highly of us, it’s an honour to be able to be there for them at such a difficult time”

One of Lilies Funeral Director’s reviews says “Very professional and kind from the minute you walk through the door Lee and Nathan take care of you nothing too much trouble. Thanks for all what you done at such a sad time. And thanks Lee for putting the kettle on every time I came through the door xx” by Linda J Smith

Lilies Funeral Directors have been recognised for their community and charity work, helping clean the local streets to running the Birmingham Marathon 2017 to raise money for John Taylor Hospice. One award that owner, Lee Solomon, is very proud of is the ‘Ambassador of the Year’ award he received from John Taylor Hospice, Lee said “not once did I expect anything like this, the team at John Taylor Hospice deserve so much – I just wish I could do more”.

The hard work and dedication the team at Lilies put in is clearly paying off as they are now about to open their second funeral home and increase the amount of families they can care for.

The two owners, Lee Solomon and Nathan Scully, grew up in and around Great Barr, Kingstanding and Sutton Coldfield. Being local men, they want to give back to their community and their next funeral home is to open in Kingstanding – very close the primary school both Lee and Nathan’s family went to. The planned date for opening is 19th March 2018, further details of their opening will be on their website and Facebook page.
